How is the ranking built?Open methodology

Universe and position. The report includes 100 active centralized exchanges with available market data. The default position is CoinPaprika's adjusted rank rather than a raw reported-volume sort.

Trading data. Volume, unique currencies and markets come from CoinPaprika. CoinMarketCap adds the logo, country, official website, launch date and visits; CoinGecko is the fallback metadata source.

Limitations. Volumes are exchange-reported and providers may revise them. “Spot assets” means unique supported currencies, while “spot markets” means trading pairs. Missing countries are never guessed.
