Bitcoin dominance measures BTC as a share of the entire crypto market. A rising value means Bitcoin is gaining relative strength against the aggregate altcoin market.
How to interpret it
High or rising dominance often accompanies a defensive market. Falling dominance may indicate capital rotation into altcoins, but should be read together with TOTAL3 and market liquidity.
